The advisory committee is a vital pillar of the Tropical Forest Alliance, embodying the diverse, multistakeholder nature of the alliance itself.

The committee’s purpose is to inform on strategy, to foster collaboration across sectors and regions, to enhance TFA’s profile, and to leverage its members’ networks to drive innovative and coordinated solutions.

Through its efforts, the advisory committee integrates expertise, raises ambition, and strengthens TFA’s impact in building sustainable, deforestation-free supply chains.

The committee’s members come from a broad spectrum of organizations, including private sector companies, financial institutions, NGOs, public donor agencies, and private philanthropies. These individuals and institutions are leaders in advancing the global transition to deforestation- and conversion-free (DCF) agricultural commodity production while championing green, sustainable supply chains.
